ron capps, tony schumacher, ida zetterström, and michael waltrip to make appearance @ michael waltrip taproom this thursday in concord.
meet and great deal for fans ....... i know ron has always run a JCM decal, and a few weeks ago he mentioned on the nhra pre-race show from phoenix? something
about an interested party for a potential second car in 2025? wonder if this alliance with michael waltrip brewing co. is tied to those statements?
nice to see michael waltrip and joe maynard coming together to promote leatherwood distillery and michael waltrip brewing co. in the nhra.

absolutely remember the napa adds. didn't MW do a stint in the fox booth last year? i'm remembering he was very entertaining.
IMO would make a nice addition if he were to do a little color commentary with you (alan) and/or the fox team.
btw, had vegas divisional on youtube at work over weekend. loved listening to your call of STK class elims.

@Alan Reinhart
I came here to say the same thing…l appreciate the YT streams & also enjoy you (and your cohorts) keeping us entertained for long hours of coverage! ✌️🇺🇸
Only way to make it better would be to turn on Live Chat. 😳

charlotte this weekend hosting PSM / TAFC / TAD / COMP / SST / TS / TD / MMPS / Fact. X
they are adding 124 more participants in 5 more classes, than the phoenix race, both (3) day events.
that is 62 more runs in qualifying. you don't save that much time running the pros 4 at a time.
why? it's seems like participant overload. if it's a 4 day event, different story.

Nice to see Dave Connolly back behind the wheel even if it is only for one race. He is driving Greg’s new car. Rickie Smith running in comp eliminator is strange. Maybe sharpening his tuneup for a potential return to pro mod in Chicago? Not sure if anybody else is a gambler, but the Caesar's Sportsbook app has odds for the races this weekend. I hope this is something they will continue to do going forward.

if PTW is any indication, my money is better not gambled and staying in my pocket :D
is this the same car dave drove in bradenton? ...... to the final round
wonder if rickie is gonna' go after brogdon/red line oil money? ......there was a ch*t ton of comp in OK last weekend,
with taylor coming out on top.

Q1 #1 in STK big ole' caprice in V/SA
surprised to not see david eaton on comp list. 2nd closest tow for him on nat event calendar.

The car Dave drove in Bradenton was Matt Hartford's new car. Matt still struggling with it.

that's right. i forgot. thanks brian ....... the other comment made most sense for smith in comp; to test

Looks like 22 cars in Pro Stock. That class is looking pretty healthy these days compared to just a few years ago. And most of the cars are competitive since many have engine or entire car leases from several of the same companies. I wonder if a similar approach could work for T/F and F/C?

Looks like Tasca's strong Rd 2 Qual time of 3.849 was thrown out. What was the issue there?
According to Tasca, NHRA has a problem with the colour of the team's manifolds, which changes during the cleaning process. Tasca says there are no dimensional changes to the manifolds; NHRA examined them in Gainesville and gave them back, but Tasca is alleging NHRA didn't say anything about their legality at that time.

Good thing there were a few monster runs. It was painful to watch with all the delays and a lot of cars not getting a full pull.

if there is a problem with a part, causing the DQ in Q2, wouldn't it follow there is a good chance the same part in question was used in Q1?
and Q1 should be DQ'd too? causing a NT or DQ for Q1? and FC should only show 15 qualified cars, instead BT3 is shown in 16th spot?
a part, or infraction in question is not good enough to hold P2? but sufficient to fill the field in P16?

NHRA statement says, "Tasca’s intake manifold was found to have been media-blasted and this violation is considered a technical infraction. The intake manifold is not allowed to be altered in any form from its original, accepted state."
My question is, what effect would the media blasting have on the manifold?

nhra must have inspected their intake after Q1 to allow the 7.806 e.t. .....probably only used the 'altered finish' intake in Q2

Now, it's Greg Anderson's turn.
