Fort Myers, FL Area Drag Strip (1 Viewer)

does anyone know if there is a drap strip in the Fort Myers, FL Area. I am near there for work and wanted to see if I could taking in some sort of drag racing, since the tracks in Chicago are shut down for the winter (though you couldn't tell it was winter by the temps!)

NHRA has a 1/4 mi sanctioned track in Bradenton, FL, north of you just a ways. IHRA has an 1/8 track in Immokalee, FL, probably southeast of you.

I think there are a couple others also, sunshine??? I know theres another,I'll have to ask my buddy the name. Bradenton is close till the week of the u.s. street nationals Jan 26th for concrete guard wall install

How long you going to be there? IHRA Division 2 has a Summit Pro-Am Series event at Immokalee Feb 9-11 (same weekend as the Winternationals) and NHRA Division 2 has their opener at Bradenton Feb 16-18.

I'm down here until Saturday, but I think Immokalee has a test and tune on friday so hopefully I will get to check that out. Next week I will be near sonoma, but i think infineon is closed around now so maybe I can get to see some racing while I am here.
