there is the entry list for round 3 of the european championships at mantorp park in a couple of weeks time..

36 pro mods is just insane!!! nearly 10 more than at any NHRA event so far this year !!!!

11 top fuel dragsters lined up so far with a possible 2 or 3 more to come yet.

Let us know what the ET spread is between those 36 cars, besides NHRA only allows 24 entries, they could get more believe me.

Sure Joe, NHRA could get more ....Camaros. We are talking real Pro Mods here, 56 Ford, 57 Chevy, 59 Caddy, Studebaker, Ford pick up truck, Plymouth Super Bird.

it is not all about the ET's it is about putting on a great show also, and the pro mods do this better than others. yes you'r correct that is a bigger variety of pro mods aswell.. but an awefull lot of these will run in the 6.0s and there will be a few dip into the 5's

Sure Joe, NHRA could get more ....Camaros. We are talking real Pro Mods here, 56 Ford, 57 Chevy, 59 Caddy, Studebaker, Ford pick up truck, Plymouth Super Bird.

Ed I miss those Nostalgia bodies as much as anybody, but the costs of making those bodies competitive ET wise have doomed them here in the states. When I first saw them run at Indy in 2000 they had a '49 Merc, a 55 T-Bird, a Viper, a '36 Chev. Now those are all gone, just Vette's and Camaro's and newer bodied stuff!

How many does ADRL get?

ADRL gets alot more, but they split blower/n20 cars into Pro Extreme (blowers) and Pro Nitrous (n2o).

Numbers are down right now for them but typically 30 to 40 Pro Extreme and 20 to 30 Pro Nitrous. At the World Finals in Ennis they had 50 pro extremes. It was awesome!

Add in another 20 to 25 Extreme 10.5 cars, 40 pro extreme motorcycles, and 20 extreme pro stockers and its a helluva show.

Randy anderson alky funny car stuff. Witch Urs Erbacher bought and won three FIA championships with before he went Nitro. Dont Quote me but i think thats what i was told to me when racing in europe in 2008.

Fredde bought that whole car from Urs. He raced it for one season, 2007, and won the European TMFC Championship that year. Fredde went back to racing the pickup in Pro Mod in 2008 and brought the TMFC motor along. Said "URS" on the injector-plates for a while in Pro Mod trim.
