That was NorwalkThere was two different stories of what happened to Rod.
One was that he was wanting to talk to a female on the other side of the fence.
The other was that he had to go to the john and the closest was on the other side of that fence.
I was doing some PR work for Rod in northwest Arkansas at the time, so I asked what the heck happened.
He was looking for a port-a-john.
$What ever happened to him?
I’ve slept a couple of times since. I didn’t remember where it happened. That was Norwalk
My youngest did Ray.Did your son's get to run their Jr's at Brainerd like the last 2 years Paul?

It was Jeff ArendRod Fuller didn’t get hurt in the zoo that I remember. His own pit area perhaps back in 95, that’s a different story.
Jeff Arend hurt his foot on a Saturday night in Brainerd and couldn’t run Sunday.
Well Rhonda is still around the sport. Her daughter Megan Smith runs A/Fuel. If they ever get major funding, there is a decent chance Rhonda could return. Megan wants to race against her at some point. So many drivers back then that are no longer in the sport. Andrew Cowin, David Baca and Rhonda Smith are names that I remember. Money talks. Thank God Clay Millican is still doing it.
every year our group always gets to a point in the weekend where we sit around and bust a gut rehashing old war stories.......we're pretty carefulThere are lots of interesting stories from the zoo.......
