I'm pleased to report that we had nitro run 1,000Ft and NONE of the terrible predictions came to pass.
1) the sky did not fall
2) time did not stop
3) the planet did not fall out of orbit and plunge into the sun.

Also no reports of fainting fans.(although I did have paramedic's on alert in case Joe hyper - ventalated ) :D:D

All kidding aside, I think we all see that 1,000ft works. It was a great race.

I got a sunburn today and I blame it directly on thousand-foot racing.

I keed. I keed! I blame it directly on me moving too slow today, hitting traffic, arriving late, forgetting to bring sunscreen and not making a point of buying some.

But I'm sure there's some way thousand-foot racing played a part in all that. Sure of it. :p

It's a little weird to watch in person but honestly my favorite part of a nitro run is the launch. After that I'm out like a light. LOL.

Off to apply more aloe vera to my red bits.

Yeah Zappy.. but I saw this headline on CNN earlier today in regards to a report being filed out of Glendora, Ca...
