At the last race of your season you had a segment where (either in the qualifying or race show), I think either Gary or John or somebody from the FC ranks were being interviewed in the staging lanes just as one of the FC's was starting the burnout, the interview had to wait for him to burnout.
The point is that it is the first time I have ever got the sense of what a noise a Funny Car makes since going to watch it at the Pod here in England. You had the feeling of how laud and vilent these cars are.
Please do more of it!
During a session of qualifying have Dunn and Marty (whoever it is) doing commertry from the starting line area instead of a studio, so the viewer can get a sense of how laud these things can be! I know the noise issue maybe the factor.
But that segment of TV will stay with me, for the simple fact, that it gave you the feeling of being there.
You HAVE TO do more of this, so the new fan can get the sense of how laud and vilent these cars are.
