What is Skillman going to do. Is Eleite going to build two motors Because I don't see him in a dodge
They are running two Chevy's and 2 Dodge's this year... Erica and Jegs in Dodges Skillman and Nobile in Chevy's
Erica won two championships with Chevrolet, and now she will defend her second in a Dodge. Proof that money talks, with enough money she would drive a Kia in Pro Stock. Chevrolet put the number 1 on the side of the car and now she just kicks them to the curb. Whatever happened to loyalty and integrity? She lost my respect.
aint no loyalty in racing and especially NHRA !! MONEY MONeyErica won two championships with Chevrolet, and now she will defend her second in a Dodge. Spot on!You are right she would run Kia if they showed up with the money. So would DSR and JFR and Kalitta and KB Racing and Allen Johnson. Chevy had ZERO to do with the number one on her car the past two years, Elite is an independent shop and the Chevy is the car they just happen to choose to race. Now Dodge shows up with money and they are supposed to turn it down because they have always run Chevys??? That doesn't sound very smart to me. Loyalty works both ways, if it was important for Chevy they would have put some money into Erica and kept her on their roster.

I'm guessing Mopar chose her and Jeg? If not, I don't understand the switch either after being so successful with GM. It would have made more sense to me if it was Jeg and Vincent in the Mopars and Erica and Drew in the Chevies.
Will Vincent be in an actual Elite car or still Mitsos with Elite power?
Freeman (Elite) - "Erica, we're getting a ton of money from Mopar, and we have these two boys whose parents own tire and auto dealerships who are paying us for them to drive Camaros. So . . . you're gonna have to drive a Mopar." Erica - " Nope, if I can't drive a Camaro, I quit." It's not her place to kick anyone to the curb. She has said many times that Elite is the key to her success and she is (as much as you apparently think differently) just the driver.Erica won two championships with Chevrolet, and now she will defend her second in a Dodge. Spot on Chris !! Heard a very similar discussion yesterday on NASCAR radio ... fans complaining about how drivers get jobs and switch brands with no loyalty. Host simply stated "its the new nature of the business" and then went on to say what we all know is true ... "an available driver with sponsor $$ and talent will trump any driver with either talent or $$". I started to laugh, because its the same in all motorsports. You are right she would run Kia if they showed up with the money. So would DSR and JFR and Kalitta and KB Racing and Allen Johnson. Drivers race because its their profession. It is irrelevant in today's motorsport where the $$ comes from and what is painted on the grill or body panels.
