Eiji Kawakami - Pro Stock Motorcycle Racer From Japan on the Entry List for Denver (1 Viewer)

Anyone know anything about Eiji Kawakami? A quick google search shows he raced PSM back in the mid 90s. In fact, he was qualified 6th after Saturday's qualifying sessions at the 1995 US Nationals. I don't see him on any of the entry lists after Denver so maybe this is just a one race deal? The entry list shows his sponsor as Lucas Oil. Maybe he's running a 3rd bike out of the Arana camp? Just curious if anyone knows the back story here. If he decided to ship all his stuff from Japan and start running the tour again after a long hiatus, similar to Fernando Cuadra, that would be pretty cool.

It's always cool to see racers from other countries compete in the USA. The "dream" is to have a real world series like F1 & race in Europe & Australia and wherever. All ya need is a few trillion $....
