DuPont Hot Hues™ and VP Racing Fuels Align Among Newest Performance by Fisher Team Me (1 Viewer)

[coverattach=1]LIMA, OHIO – March 3, 2009 - Just as new dates continue to be added for the husband and wife team of Performance by Fisher Racing’s 2009 season, so are new members of their racing family.

One of the team’s additions is DuPont’s Hot Hues™, who offers a palette of premium custom color and special effect finishes that allows one to create a unique work of art out of any vehicle. It was during 2007 when the team first became aware of the line, as they searched for just the right paint product for Kathy Fisher’s new Cannister dragster body.

“After meeting with Dennis Silva of Hot Hues in Vegas this past fall during SEMA,” Kathy reflected. “We were both pretty excited about the new partnership. This product line has the most brilliant colors and candies. Paints and clears that shouldn’t be saved for just the hot rod market. With all the personalities of cars in drag racing, there is something for everyone, with seemingly endless possibilities.”

“My car still looks great after two seasons,” she added. “And our painter was really pleased with the products, as my car was the first time he had worked with the line.”

Five of the rich Hot Hues™ basecoat colors will drape the team’s new 2009 Top Dragster, including Snow Storm, Silver Leaf, Sapphire Trace, Twilight and Amazing Grape.

Not only will the paint that adorns the Performance by Fisher Racing team cars be hot, but so will the fuel that will feed their Ohio Crankshaft power plants in 2009 thanks to the addition of VP Racing Fuels M1™ Racing Methanol.

“Just like so many other teams, we take great care to use only the best products available on the market. When you only have one chance to get it right in drag racing, the fuel we use is such an important part of that. VP Racing Fuels not only offers the best fuel products on the market, but they are constantly testing and working on advancements in all their product lines,” said Kevin Fisher, driver and crew chief for the team.

“VP Racing Fuels offers performance parts, it’s really no different than adding any other upgrade to your race car,” Kathy noted. “When you run any of VP’s fuels, you can rest assured that each and every drum will provide the same consistency as the last. We all know what consistency means to drag racers, no matter what level of the sport a team competes on.”

In addition to DuPont Hot Hues™ and VP Racing Fuels, Performance by Fisher Racing is also proud to announce the addition of Manhattan Oil, makers of nineteen different fuel fragrances such as Banana Blast, Full Blown Bubble Gum and Rocket Cotton Candy in addition to four top lubes. These are all products that the team has used for over a decade.

Ohio Crankshaft and K&N Engineering will also rejoin Amalie Oil Company, who returns for a second season as the primary sponsor, on both the team’s Quick Rod/Super Comp and new Top Dragster entries.
