I know this is an e.t thread but what about the speed history (I know I could find it if I researched but I thought it would spur fun conversation seeing as how fun the ET one did..)

With absolutely no research I hazily remember John Force breaking 300 there first.. is that true?

With the fuel cars being able to adjust so much (blower drive, gaskets, fuel, timing etc..), why are the runs still so far below a sea level track? Is it a downforce thing? Wonder what the physics does because you'd think what they lose in downforce they might gain in less drag.
