D1 Race in Reading

WOW!

16 TAFC's
15 TAD's
38 Comp cars
122 Stockers...almost had to use the "bump" spot. When was the last time that could be said at a divisional? (2006 Reading)

Those represent about the same numbers the national events have been seeing.

Uncle Frankie has a strangle hold on the TAFC's with a tenth on everyone.

What a friggin race so far!

This race always brings out the drivers and fans. They had a full field in top sportsman and top dragster. Wish I would have went some rounds in super comp

It was a good weekend for all, turnout was great. The weather cooperated (barely) The water was out of the air by Sunday. The fresh track surface was even christened with 8qts of synthetic courtesy of Dr. Daniels and the Hemi.:D

That was one of the longest oildowns I've ever waited for. I was told he windowed both sides of the motor? If so, isn't that around a $60,000 chunk of aluminum?

That's a great turn out during this economic session. Excluding the alcohol classes, the entry for the stock and SS were better than the sportsnationals in Fontana two weeks ago. Wish I was there.

Weather cooperated, which is sort of a nice change from what we've been having. Glad the event brought out cars and spectators. It's what drag racing needs! Uploaded some photos to our Photo Gallery at Drag Racing Action. Next stop for us will be E-Town and regardless what it's called now, it'll forever be known as the Summernationals!
