CROSSLAND CONSTRUCTION TO SUPPORT CATERPILLAR TOP FUEL DRIVER ROD FULLER AT O’REILLY FALL NATIONALS

ENNIS, Texas (Sept. 20, 2007) – Crossland Construction Company, one of the nation’s largest general contracting companies, will back NHRA Top Fuel driver Rod Fuller during the 20th annual O’Reilly Fall Nationals, Sept. 20-23, at Texas Motorplex near Dallas. Crossland Construction, with locations in Kansas , Arkansas , Oklahoma and Texas , and Fuller inked a personal services agreement for the event.

"We wanted to support someone who represents the audience and demographics that our industry serves, and there was no better fit for that than our hometown hero and Top Fuel driver Rod Fuller,” Crossland Construction Director of Development Pat Carroll said. “His association with Caterpillar combined with the NHRA fan base puts us right in with our customer base. We see the Dallas market as a growth opportunity for our business and the fact that the majority of our large earth moving equipment is purchased from Caterpillar dealers makes a perfect fit for the association."

Fuller currently ranks second in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship standings after leading the series for much of the 2007 season. He has two wins in five final round appearances this season along with four poles. He drove to a runner-up finish at the Dallas race last year. Fuller will be flying the colors of HOLT CAT during the Dallas NHRA race as part of the recently-announced dealer technician recruiting program at each NHRA event.

“This is the first time that I have a company from my home in Northwest Arkansas backing me,” Fuller said. “They’re a great company. The area is booming and we see Crossland equipment everywhere when I’m home. It’s a great feeling to represent a company from my local community.”

Headquartered in Columbus , Kan. , Crossland Construction Company, Inc. is ranked by Engineering News as the 139th largest U.S.-based general contracting company in the nation. Metal Construction News lists Crossland Construction seventh in their annual list of National Steel and Metal Building Sales, while Hispanic News Magazine shows Crossland at 17th in the Top 500 Hispanic Businesses in the United States .
