The reverser sheared the studs in the can and spun.
The report is both his legs were broken by the lever. One leg has a compound fracture.
Sounds like the same deal that happened to Tom Hoover several years ago.

I remember that, Jerry. I asked Tom about that at Eddyville many years ago and he just rolled his eyes..said it was a real 'b!tch'.

My thoughts are with Dale & Family.

Dale is resting after a long day in the operating room, good news is that he still has all his "parts".
From what I hear about the inside of the car he very lucky.

Creasy's a beast in IHRA man.

Glad to hear he's doing better. He lived, that's the most important part. I'm sure he'll find his way back into a racecar soon. It's hard to keep them out of a car, no matter what happens.
