Cory Mac's New Crew Chief (1 Viewer)

CompPlus is reporting that Cory Mac's new crew chief is the crew chief that used to be on Brady Kalivoda's machine (Keith Adams), and that he was hired by Don $chumacher Racing. Does this mean that Cory Mac will join the D$R fold by more than just a "lease" thing?

In a more sad development, I hate to see another independent team parked. This time, because of the loss of a crew chief.

It sounds like Shoe is going to lease everything Cory needs to him, as well as manage the team. Keith Adams & AJ sounds like a potent combo, much like AJ and Richard Hogan were last year.

Sorry to see Adams leave a small team, but maybe he wants to be on tour full time, and this is the opportunity for him. Maybe it will help get Cory Mac on track.

Wasn`t much time to see what Tony Shortall could do, but Adams and AJ have a long history, so I think it`s a perfect hire.

While were on Cory Mac, it sure seems to me that Scott Griffin has a habit of parking teams quickly. Mid-year, not long after acquiring from Carrier Boyz, he suddenly decides to park the car, right after his sponsors event?

as a few others have posted recently, there seems to be a shortage of
guys qualified to tune these cars. I can certainly side with the small guy
without a tuner; why spend money on parts in the morning and blow them
up in the afternoon? might as well go to the casino.
i can also side with the lesser known crew chief who is asked to move to
a more well funded operation........hey, when opportunity knocks.

I don`t think Griffin had a choice, pretty sure the checks stopped coming from Honeywell as soon as the Carriers sold.
