I'm so happy to see Del Worsham finally win a championship. It's been WAY overdue. Wish it could have been with his dad, but still, Del got his day. The look on Chuck's face was priceless though. This is what sports (not just drag racing) is all about. Congrats Del Worsham. You deserve it buddy!!!!!

No.

No one here has shown any proof whatsoever.

Not one scrap of credible proof. (Excuse me if I think most of "Agent 1000's bs is JUST THAT!!!) I'll not believe this bit of nonsense until I hear it from either Del or Alan first. Until then I think all of this speculation is just that, guessing.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Maybe Del wants to be a crew chief next year and wants to take a break from being a driver. AJ sure made it sound that is the case.

So the *RUMOR* about Morgan Lucas stealing Del's seat is just that, an unsubstaniated RUMOR ! Sounds like Del has a driving job with Al Anabi if he wants it.

The funny thing was when Tom Compton handed Del Worsham the trophy on Sunday at Pomona he said "Your 2011 Full Throttle Funny Car Champion, Del Worsham". Even Ol' Tom still thinks of Del as a flopper driver.

I'll have to admit I was pulling for Antron.

But then after Del won it started sinking in to me that the championship was something that Del and the entire Worsham family really deserved.

They've done a lot for drag racing with all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears they've put into it over the years.
