Commisso Looking to Close the Deal in St. Louis

Toronto, Ontario Canada - Raymond Commisso, driver of the 67 Camaro Pro Mod sponsored by Steelback Beer, is hoping to seal the deal and bring home the teams first win in the 2007 season. The potent Camaro, tuned by Al Billes and built by G-Force Race Cars Inc, has made an amazing string of runs down the track with great consistency and performance.

The team heads into the A.M.S. / Tindale NHRA Pro Mod event in second place in points. Commisso states, “We have had an awesome year so far. We were the car to beat at a few races and luck has just not been on our side. I’ve been behind a little on the tree, and just flat out couldn’t see the tree against Doug Palmer in the semi’s in Atlanta. That was a horrible way to go down. Like they say ‘you have to find all the ways to lose before you can win’. I hope to pull through for the team this weekend. All of my guys pour their heart and soul into this deal”.

The Steelback Beer Pro Mod has committed to the A.M.S NHRA series, as it better suits the schedule for Commisso to run his restaurant Dimmi Bar and Trattoria in downtown Toronto, Canada. Team Com-And Leader Ralph Andreacchi says, “We have been testing after nearly every event. I think you will see it pay off this weekend. Raymond becomes more confident in the car on every pass. Crew members Sammy, Frank, and Harry also have become a solid backbone to support the effort on a quest to put an end to the Josh Hernandez show.”

Com-And Racing thanks the following sponsors: Steelback Brewery, Torco Race Fuels, Al Billes Racing Matrix Refit, Vinvino Supply, Dimmi Bar and Trattoria, G-Force Race Cars, J.E. Construction, Straford Motor Products, Fast Eddie Race Wear, Performance Tire, and Scott Jahren Paint.
