The ComAnd Racing team of Raymond Commisso and Ralph Andreacchi has been hot this year. With the recent acquiring of Roger Burgess’ R2B2 sponsorship, the team has had enormous success this season.
Like they say all good streaks come to an end, as driver Raymond Commisso was unable to crack the 6.20 bump at the Mac Tools US Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park at Indianapolis.
The ComAnd team was back with the trusty G-Force Race Cars built 67 Camaro that has lead them to 5.90’s @ 244 Mph this season. After having some ignition problems on the first 2 passes, the team was left to the last qualifying session to punch its way back into the show. As fate would have it, it was not to be in 2007 as Commisso proceeded to shake the tires100 ft. off the starting line. He stated, “Last year we set the Pro Mod record here and lost in the final. This year we are on the outside looking in. This sport can be very humbling to say the least. We will get a test session or two in by the Dallas event. Don’t count us out. This team has depth”.
The next event for the ComAnd Racing team will be September 21-23 at the Texas Motorplex for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Nationals. Log onto comandracing.com for more info.
