The ComAnd Racing team of Raymond Commisso and Ralph Andreacchi sponsored by R2B2 Motors had an amazing 2007 season.
Commisso and his G-Force Race Cars built 67 Camaro, combined with a relatively new team guided by tuner Al Billes, had a season that had many high points. Consistency through eliminations and strong qualifying efforts led the team into a chase that would net them a #2 finish in NHRA Pro Mod points. Commisso exclaimed, “This is such an exciting moment for me and my team. We all worked really hard for this. I thank Roger Burgess from R2B2 motors and Pro Car Rx for all of his support, Al Billes for the power and tune-ups and all of my crew guys Ralph, Frank, Sammy, and Harry. Without these people this still would only be a dream”.
Commisso will continue sponsorship with R2B2 Motors into next season and have the support of his great teammates. Team partner Ralph Andreacchi states, “Raymond has really become a professional. He was calm and poised all year long. We had two runner-up finishes on the AMS circuit, a win at the IHRA Mopar Nationals in Grand Bend, Ontario and became Canada’s first 5 second Pro Mod with a 5.98 @ 244 mph in Gainesville.
Although the team lost in both the 1st round of the Pro Care Rx Clash and 1st round of eliminations, you can bet a productive off-season of R&D will net this team stellar performances in 2008 in hopes of capturing their first Championship.
