Com-And Racing More than Happy with 2007 Season to Date

Raymond Commisso and Ralph Andreacchi, owners of one of the hottest Pro Mod teams on the circuit to date, are more than happy with their performance during the 2007 season. Their G-Force Race Cars built 67 amaro, sponsored by Steelback Beer, has been tearing up the track since the beginning of March in Valdosta, Ga.

Commisso exclaims, “I could only dream of this just even last year. Our tuner and horsepower provider Al Billes has provided us with a car that has really been awesome. We have been the car to beat at half of the races this year. I have been a little inconsistent in driving, but I feel better than I ever have in a car this year. Our time will come soon”.

The Steelback Camaro is coming off of low E.T and Top Speed honors in St. Louis, only to lose with a red light in the second round. Andreacchi states, “We are a new team that is still gelling. With each race, we become more confident. It’s really exciting for us to be in the 3rd spot in the AMS Staff Leasing NHRA points race. It’s a long season and I feel we have all the tools to make a run at it. Time will tell the story”.

The potent Camaro will hit the track next during the O’Reilly Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, Tennessee May 18-20. The team hopes to find the means to pull together for their first win of the season. Clutch man Frank Lombardi says, “This car has been on rails all year long. We have only aborted 3 runs in 58 passes this year so far. It’s a testament that Jim Salemi builds a great car and Al Billes makes the power and can manage it for the track conditions. It’s a great feeling to be apart of this team.”
