I hate to hear about all those who lost their jobs recently but mine is a different story. I have been worked to death by a boss with "no clue" the last couple of years. All that changed last Thursday as I moved to another company where I already had friends working and way less stress, not to mention paid insurance, retirement, etc. I probably sacrificed my Christmas bonus but it was well worth it. Then, last Saturday, my son proposed to his girlfriend (some of you met them in Houston last spring). They set a date of June 6th...D-Day. Then on Friday all that changed. One week after getting engaged they found out that they would be parents. I will be a second time grandfather. Geez, that makes me feel old. The wedding is now going to be in February, not much time to plan. I guess since the KARMA has been positve lately, the least important of the good things happened. I won my Fantasy Football league this weekend. I was in 7th out of 9 in total points but made the playoffs and beat the team with highest point total this past weekend. Anyway, I hope to see some of you in Houston this spring. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
