Chevy “SS” is the Chevy FC body in 2026??

Prock and Beckman referred to them as that in their first interviews all last year. I wondered why as well.

Starting last year, NASCAR teams could run the Camaro ZL1 body without any Camaro branding and now for 2026 that body has received an update. It's branded as the Camaro ZL1 Racecar. To cover homologation rules, that update package is available for the no longer produced Camaro ZL1 road car.

Crazy. I think this is might be more of a problem for Nascar then Nhra. They both have always used brand loyalty for factory support but it seem bigger today in Nascar. Gm does not make a car today that fits the bill except maybe Cadillac. Going to be interesting, eventually they have to stop using a name plate that is not in production.

Rules can be updated to match the future of racings best interest

Hopefully in a few years Camaro gets resurrected. Tough living in a world of no Camaro's
