Eaton Camaro leads Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified Shootout chase​

JORDAN STATION, ON (September 19, 2006) – Carl Spiering will be returning to the drag strip he considers his “home” track with the Eaton Electrical Pro Modified Supercharged 1967 Chevrolet Camaro at Toronto Motorsports Park’s Canadian Nationals this weekend.

This IHRA eMax Drag Racing Series event is the rescheduled July 21-23 race that was rained out at the Cayuga, Ontario strip.

“It’s our chance to show our hometown Canadian race fans and all of the Eaton customers what are team is made of this weekend at Cayuga,” said Spiering, the 41-year old driver from Jordan Station, Ontario . “We just returned from Atlantic Canada and the Noonan Nationals at Miramichi Dragway Park in Bellefond , New Brunswick . It’s not very often that we get to race in front of our Canadian fans two weeks in a row.”

Carl Spiering continues to lead the chase over all other teams in the Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified class earning points based on their final qualifying spot at each national event. The top eight point earners will have the opportunity to participate in the 2007 Torco Race Fuels Pro Modified Shootout, which will be held in Martin, Michigan at the Northern Nationals.
