Maybe some one will kidnap me on the way down there and force me to take pictures and videos while getting my nostrils and eyeballs assaulted with nitro. Sigh, one can only dream.

Darr, I saw that about the funny cars!!! It really sucks because our flight leaves out of Burbank at 1:00, so we won't be at the track at all Sunday!!! That was the main reason I wanted to go, but didn't know this back in March when I made plans and such. Oh well, still can't wait.
Long story short, when my dad worked at Pink's he built a couple engines for Steve Carbone. Steve's sons Paul and Steve Jr's. kids race karts with my son and I here in Tulsa. I asked Paul the other day if he was going to try to go to the Hot Rod Reunion, he said he was planning on it but then they got a letter from NHRA saying that they were going to induct his dad into the Hall of Fame at the Gatornationals in March. He said him, Steve, and their mom was going to wait and go to that instead. Just a lil tidbit for you there.

Many of the funnies will be there before Saturday, but not allowed to run until Sunday. A lot of us wish it were different. Come by and say hello to the ones that are there.
Can you change your flight without a huge expense????
Supposedly that is the only flight out that day, it was take it or leave it. Wish I would have left it and flown out Monday.
Can't wait to see my all time favorite Dale Pulde!! Would be nice if his dad Ed would be there. Whenever my mom and dad would go out Ed was our baby sitter..........LOL
Would also like to run into another of my ol buddies Wyatt Radke. Haven't seen him since '00 Winternationals
Hell, the list goes on!! I am so stoked I'm about ready to wet my pants........LOL

myself and Tim Marshall will be sending photos to dragracingonline.com and after the event I will be busy putting up the 1000's of photographs we will have taken, one of the best drag racing photographers from northern Cal. will also be supplying us photos one Rich Enos Rich used to be the track photographer at Fremont and Sacramento he along With Roger Rohdanz from Drive Magazine will be working with me and Tim. this should for sure keep me busy, as I am the one who does all the computer crap.
I am leaving Long Beach at 4.30 A M to beat the traffic threw downtown L A
in my R V only going to stop at Hodels for a fantastic buffet breakfast stop at Vons quick trip to Costco cheapest gas in Bakersfield and head to the track to meet up with Tim and head back to town for the media deal in town.
Hope all those who do get to go have a great time as I have gone to everyone so far and as always had a great time getting my Nitro Fix!

Had a ball running the Rocket Mufffler '55 Chevy Wagon in Exhibition at the Reunion...made my fastest pass on Friday....12.78 @ 108.3 ...
