Bush and D'Aprile Head to Canada's Oil Country for the IHRA's Rocky Mountain Nationals

Elma, NY – 4,500 miles round trip, $3500 dollars for diesel fuel, Edmonton Drag Racing Fans…Priceless. That about says it all for Mel Bush Motorsports drivers, Tommy D'Aprile (Pro Modified) and Mel Bush (Top Sportsman/Quick 16).
"I haven't been to Castrol Raceway since my rookie season (2006) but I remember how great the fans are up there and when it comes down to it that's why we do what we do because of the fans," said D'Aprile. Team Owner Mel Bush also has fond memories of the CARS RV, Marine & Motorsports Rocky Mountain Nationals presented by Torco Race Fuels. "I've been around this sport for a long time and the fans in Edmonton are as rabid as any. It's a great when you get so much fan support." Said Bush.
Qualifying begins Friday with one afternoon session and one night session. Qualifying resumes Saturday with an the third round at 3 PM local time and the IHRA's World Famous Night of Fire starting at 7:30 Pm local time. Eliminations begin Sunday at 11 AM.
