Bruton Smith reaffirms desire to buy NASCAR: Speedway Motorsports Inc. chairman Bruton Smith gave his opinion on several pressing subjects [Sunday morning], including his long-standing desire to purchase NASCAR from the France family if the opportunity ever presented itself. "I stand by that," he said. "And it's getting closer."
