went to the food city 500 yesterday and they did a really nice tribute and had a moment of silence for eric medlen. they had his picture on the video screen and read his career accomplishments. this was done in the pre-race ceremonies.
on a related note, they also had cory mac and jr todd's dragsters fired up in the prerace for a minute or so. sounded great when they juiced the throttle (the echo was incredible!)
