Brent Jones won the 2015 Drag Parts.com Blown Alcohol Thunder Championship. Jones from Missoula, Montana was presented a check for $1,000 and a trophy during the Renegade Raceway awards banquet at the Howard Johnson Gateway Hotel on November 21 in Yakima, Washington.
Jones who pilots the Lawless blown alcohol funny car won two events in the six race series that were contested in Medford and Yakima respectively to earn enough points to win the title over second place finisher Kyle Hansen. Finishing out the top five were Rich Bailey, Kelly Flansaas and George Moore. A total of 17 dragsters, funny cars, alterds and promods participated in this year’s series at events in Washington, Montana and Oregon.
