Brandon Bernstein to join Hooters 12th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant Judges Panel

( Atlanta , GA ) On July 8, over 130 Hooters Girls from around the world will compete in the 12th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant in Fort Lauderdale , FL. Hailing from almost every state and at least a dozen countries, the Hooters Girl contestants will be representing their home restaurants in hopes to be crowned Miss Hooters International and take home the $50,000 first place prize.
The contestants were selected from over 15,000 Hooters Girls worldwide who presently work in one of the 440 Hooters restaurants across the world. They were chosen by competing in local swimsuit contests or were featured in the 2008 Hooters Calendar and Hooters Magazine.
The pageant will be held at the Broward Theatre for Performing Arts and will be broadcast live to all Hooters restaurants across the country on July 8th stating at 7 PM EDT. During the week, the Hooters Girls will participate in photo shoots, media interviews and rehearsals leading up to the pageant.
From evening gowns to swimsuits, the contestants will be judged by a distinguished celebrity panel including Actor, D.B. Sweeney; Miami Heat Point Guard, Gary Payton; IndyCar racer, Helio Castroneves; NBA Player and Best Damn Sports Show Period host, John Salley and NHRA Top Fuel driver, Brandon Bernstein. For the second year in a row Sports Announcer and host of Fox Sports Net Best Damn Sports Show Period, Chris Rose, will be hosting the pageant. In addition to the cash prize, Miss Hooters International 2008, will also receive a Plasma TV from LG electronics, a feature in the Hooters Magazine, Hooters Calendar and appear in national TV commercials.
