The Buried 1957 Plymouth

Anyone here from Oklahoma know anything about this??

I think I might drive down there in June to see what this thing looks like after being buried for the last 50 years.

The fun part will be cleaning the cosmoline off the car - it's a very heavy, waxy substance that's used when mothballing or storing vehicles and machinery and usually requires using hot water or a solvent for complete removal.

Here's a link to an article about the fun of removing cosmoline from surplus military firearms - be sure to read all the way to the bottom to see a long list of alternative means and materials for removing the "goo:"

There's a few folks that post here that are in the Tulsa area. Hopefully one of 'em will see this and report on the event when it happens. As for the contents of the car... I'll take the $2.73 in bills and coins. :D
