Bradford Up for the Upset

Tom Bradford qualified the Hal's Speedshop/Balbayis Asset Consulting Buell in the 16th and final Pro Stock Motorcycle qualifying position for the NHRA Toyo Tires Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway. That means Tom faces new national record holder Angelle Sampey in the first round. "We've got our work cut out for us, but I think we're in place to mix it up a little bit," said Tom. "We ran 7.05 and are sitting on the bump. That shows you how fast field is out here. But I'm positive, I'm upbeat, I'm excited."

"All in all we had an OK Saturday. We got cut short because of rain and only had one run, which really hurt us. But we're making the right moves and going faster and faster each run. We're planning on going forward and winning some rounds today and stabilizing ourselves in the points."
