This might very well be the most beautiful property I've ever seen. The main residence is huge, with 4 other houses, as well as smaller cabins. Over 3000 acres, lakes planted with trout, streams, rivers, and plenty of wildlife. Simply stunning. Now if I can only come up with the $88,000,000; it could be all mine!!!!!!:D

I think thats actually a bargain for what you're getting.

You could buy the Pillsbury house (Pillsbury foods) on Lake Minnetonka here in Minnesota for 53.5 million. It's 32000 sq. ft and sits on almost 13 acres with 1700 feet of shoreline. Pillsbury house LINK

The BootJack is beautiful and Pagosa Springs was always one of my favorite places to visit. In fact, am going back for a long weekend in October. Besides incredible hiking and riding trails and forest service property there are also Anasazi Ruins close by at Mesa Verde. The hunting in the area is really super and if you look at the Mountains in the background you will see the aspen and some great picking grounds for chantarelles. I just can't wait to go visit again and if I had the money I would be first in line to purchase. :)

I'm trying to beg , cajole and arm twist a trip up to the San Juan's for some fishing , hiking and fellowship with some high school buddies .
I want to Corvette in the mountains for obvious reasons and they have trucks with campers.
I thought they could bring the houses because the unimproved camping areas are just that, unimproved and I haven't quite figured out how to camp out comfortably in a Corvette.
And no wise acres better not come up with pull a trailer either.
They say the mountains bring you closer to God .
They may just be right !
Though when I used to crawl around the caves in the Guadalupe's and the Capetian's I never felt I was closer to the other guy !
If I had an estate that large I'd have my own drag strip , most likely in one wing.

You might see if Frank Sims is still at Chama Land & Cattle, he knows the San Juan's as well as anyone and better than most. Or Taylor Streit in Taos, he had a fly fishing guide outfit when I lived in Taos. :) Frank has funnier stories though and I think a much longer history in the area.

Um, I'd settle for a 2000 sf home on 10 acres with a stocked pond , a shooting range and a dirtbike track! :o

How close is the nearest Walmart to any of these luxury homes? :D

Would I have to fire up the jet? :)

Last time I was up there you would have to go to Farmington, NM or possibly Alamosa, CO for a WalMart. Not sure if Alamosa has one, but they have an airport. :) That means hours of driving, or yes, a jet. :) Taos has it's own Walmart and if you need to see anyone, go on the weekend.

The closest Walmart to the Pillsbury house is probably only 10 miles away.
Flying Cloud airport is just down the street from Walmart so you could easily use the jet if you would like! :D

Alan, just tell them you'll give them 50 mill in cash and it's a done deal.

Ya know, I was dreaming the very same thing last night!:D Then I figured we could have some crazy 'Mater parties every year before the Mile High's (IDK how close it is to Bandimere, but in MY dream land, that was irrelevant!) then travel down via my multiple helicopters..........:)
