TORONTO, ONTARIO (March 14, 2009) - Joe Boniferro and the Smokin‟ Joe‟s Racing team are proud to unveil their marketing partnership with VEGASFUEL Canada. The Niagara Falls, Ontario based team will follow the Pro Modified Racing Association, Pro Modified Racing Association series where Boniferro will attempt to recapture the title he won in 2006.
Boniferro elaborated, “This has been an exciting off season for us, we have been talking on and off with NHRA Pro Stock racer Max Naylor and with the expansion of the VEGASFUEL brand into Canada it only made sense that there would be a presence at the racetrack in Canada and northern States. We are happy to have been chosen to be that presence. Max is a very good businessman and buying the VEGASFUEL brand was a smart move on his part. It is a great product and we look forward to „Putting a little Vegas into you‟
To complement the new partnership Boniferro had longtime friend Scott Jahren lay down some new paint in the VEGASFUEL corporate colors. The radical black and red scheme is a departure from Boniferro‟s usual reds and whites. ”Scotty did a great job, we could have had the car wrapped but Scott wanted to paint it. You can see the result, the VEGASFUEL Canada Dodge Avenger will turn eyes wherever it goes.” explained Boniferro.
The new look will hit the PMRA trail on the Victoria Day Weekend, May 16-17 at Cayuga Dragway but Boniferro hopes to test before then.
