Congrats to the Bode team. Hell, they even got passable media coverage (at least two in focus impressions of Alice backing up the car and running to the chase vehicle). It is nice to see a genuine happy guy win in FC. Getting tired of the Asian River Carp of drag racing eating up the media time, now with this ginned up lame "controversy" with his daughter's husband.....and how about Dunn naming Pat Austin as the best Castrol sponsored driver. Gotta love that!

im a fan of jack beckman ... like him alot .. but i think he knew everyone was a bode fan for the final .. including me .. when i heard frey say jack had smoked em ...i nearly fell out of my chair...so pleased for Bob and the entire team.

Beckman is one of my favs but I had to root against him in the final. Its always great to see someone get their first win. Great job team Bode

Thanks to everyone for the congrats, and for the support.
It's been an absolutely amazing weekend for us, my head is still spinning I can't explain the feeling going on right now.
Hats off to Bob Bode for being one hell of a driver and team owner, and for assembling the best crew of guys you could ask for. I will never be able to thank him enough for letting me be a part of it.
Hats off to the entire crew as well, for a flawless race day performance.
Each and every one of us have our hearts and souls devoted to preparing a safe and competitive race car, and we did exactly that this weekend.
I love all these guys like family and I'm so proud of them.
One more mention needs to go to the fans at Brainerd, I don't think there was a single person sitting in their seat when we drove the tow vehicle down to the finish line. The energy from the crowd was incredible. Thanks to all those people for the overwhelming support.
I just got home and I'm dead tired, so I'm going to let Eugene fill you in on the rest of the story when he gets back to his computer.
Thank you again for all the congrats, it means a great deal to us.

I gotta say, BB's win was cool on so many levels! And that was a great winner's circle interview. I can't remember being so excited for a winner, it's been such a long period of the "regulars" trading wins. The other cool thing was definitely the fun the guys are having with the whole PS vs. Fuel car driving deal, I thought that was pretty awesome of Head to put that pic of Ray in his windows. This is the stuff that makes this sport stand out from the rest.

Just watched the race on DVR so I know I am a couple of days late ... but way to go Bob Bode!!! Would love to hear about the party in the pits that night as it was well deserved! It is ALWAYS good to have new blood in the winner's circle.

It was awesome to see someone ELSE win, let alone BB. That entire team works their ass off. I loved his comments about the money, and how they've raced more in one day than in the last three weeks!
