Why is his registration number PRO 61, Didn't he used to use PRO 712? However, it'll be cool to have another driver representing Div. 6 in Pro Stock.

I saw pictures of a newfangled Hemi on his dyno that a friend took when he stopped there on his way to March Meet a couple months ago. I doubt Panella would pawn off any work on his own engines to to another shop.

Tom - I'd have to agree with that, but with PS technology being so specialized,
ya never know. Panella builds some amazing stuff. The hemi Ford they built for Paul Glavins' "Rolling Thunder" is just incredible!

It's a cool looking design, but my heart still goes with his Sox & Martin tribute car...

Bob has always had the ability to build big power. I'm sure we'll see him competitive from his very first hit. It'll be great to have him back!

i loved that tribute car also, i think one event a year pro stockers should run tribute paint jobs, how about bob in the sox and martin car, allen johnson in a mr norms paint scheme, greg anderson in a tiger striped arnie beswick tribute, dave connely in a grumpys toy car like a few years back, k.j in a dyno don old reliable car, and for the ford crowd, jim cunningham in a bob glidden tribute. bring back nostalgia please!

Are we really sure this is a Panella car? Without the tell-tale Panella blue/yellow paint scheme from the days gone by, I'm having a hard time buying into this as a "Real" Panella car.

. . . and WJ as himself????

lol unfortunalty for us pontiac fans, there was only arnie, don gay ran funny cars, but w.j could do a incredible hulk paint job from his 76 camaro

My favorite Panella car was the Lumina with the 80's Camaro as a close second. I also kinda liked the second Pro Stock truck that Jeff Gracia (?) drove (it was purple and yellow).

Great idea and suggestions! Jeff...you're a true blue Pro Stock junkie...it's good to be in the same club as you! ;)

A lot of the various tribute cars have shown up at Indy which is the perfect race and venue to have an organized effort to field tribute cars. Wouldn't it be cool to see Grumpy's Toy line up against Sox & Martin again? Or, how 'bout a Reher-Morrison vs Motorcraft Ford duel on the starting line. What a great display of nostalgia that would be! Just think about the merchandising opportunities...

P/S fords? how about a Dyno Don or a M/T car... and to those that forget, M/T did have a Boss 429 P/S mustang, it just escapes me who drove it. and let's not forget the TJ Taxi 4 door Mav.

More great ideas! This brings up the dream of having Bob Glidden & Sons fielding a competitive Ford. Wouldn't that be nice...
