hopefully dunn racing will show for FC, leaving field at 16. 10 TF'rs again. i still wish they'd just qualify 8 and spread money to all. byes suck.
double d/regional starts stacking early next week. have a feeling this race is going to draw a lot of racers.

Steve Rentjes or Glenn Cromwell , if you can find him. In the old days Compton always took the time to listen, don't know how Glenn is, never spoke to him

NOt everybody, i dont see what it hurts to show a few more pairs of pro stock to show the complete class, its like someome in programming is doing it on purpose?
I don't disagree with your opinion. If you boil it down to actual track time they could easily show every race in 60 minutes with all 4 classes shown and that's allowing 1 minute per race. Throw in some driver and crew chief interviews and you have a show.

earlier this summer around the norwalk nat. event and the double d/regional that preceeded it, there was discussion regarding how and where
racers pitted; those running one weekend, and those running two. next weekend bir has announced on their event info page regarding upcoming
double d/regional, racers attending both weekends will be parked in a spot to remain for two weekends. those only attending next weekend
need to vacate property by noon on monday the 11th ....... nhra probably takes over the property on monday afternoon? or tuesday morning?

Maybe so but people don't want to see what Brittany had for breakfast, Antron playing on the practice tree inside his lounge or Hagen and Bruno working out at the gym or riding go carts. People want to see cars going down the track
don't forget about what Hagen wore to the track today! Seriously it is their attempt to focus on the drivers as much as the cars. Many folks go to see their favorite (or their least fav) race and want to learn more about them. Me, I'd rather hear the crew chiefs.

FWIW, this is how I've gotten used to watching races. I rarely watch live.

Why spend 3 hpurs watching mostly filler when I can fast forward to the actual runs. There may be some replays or interviews, but it takes about an hour, often less, to watch a 3 hour broadcast.

One thing I have learned is if it's live, always record whatever follows the NHRA race because they often run long and the final rounds go past the 3 hr window.

I set my recorder for 1 extra hour and usually wait to start watching.

12 TAFC entered so far and Kris Hool will make it 13. That will be the most in the class this year. Maybe we will see a full 16 car field.

i hope so chris, still thinking both alcohol and comp fields will expand by end of next week. had 16 TAD, 12 TAFC, and 8 comp last year.
STK and SS have a few west coast racers in the field and will most likely do both weekends. class elims next thursday could get really good.

Every sport is a game of personalities. Personally, when I see no names leading the golf tournament, I don’t tune in. I know, many of you would never tune that in. But having been around this for 60 plus years. I’m pretty familiar with the racing characters. So I have nhra tv and ff through most. Sometimes I only want to spend 20 minutes so I ff to every run, do the same for the next round and I can get a whole lot done on a Sunday.

according to phil b's article on nhra.com regarding most frequented nat. event venues, brainerd ties for 7th place with seattle with 42 nat. events.
if you look at what venues have continuously run a national event (omiting 2020), brainerd is now 4th oldest, behind gainesville, indy, and pomona.
vegas has more nat. events due to 2x annual, but only started in 2000. e-town is done, and bandimere is hopefully in limbo.
seattle and ennis' 42 each were not consecutive.

Also just noticed there is a couple of pro stock racers making their national event debuts. Joseph Wilczek and Chris Vang. Vang might be driving a KB-Titan entry because he has connections to Deric Kramer. He has been a long time member of Kramer’s team and is married to Deric’ sister. He also won in MMPS at the final Bandimere race.
