Big plans for Disturbed Motorsports team for 2007

MARIETTA, GEORGIA (February 23, 2007) – The Disturbed Motorsports team will be running a busy schedule for 2007. This Georgia-based Pro Modified team will be competing in the IHRA eMax Nitro Jam™ Drag Racing Series, selected National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) POWERade Drag Racing Series events, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL), and Street Car Super National events.

“We have a busy season planned and our recent win in Florida was a great start,” explained the 32-year-old driver Eddie Ware. “We want to qualify for every race, which is our first goal. The second step is to win rounds.”

The Hemi-powered Supercharged 1967 Chevrolet Camaro qualified number one, set low elapsed time and top speed, and won the Outlaw Pro Street final at the U.S. Street Nationals at Bradenton Motorsports Park in January.

“There is no question the highlight of last season was our IHRA National event win at New England Dragway and setting the Torco CompetitionPlus.com Pro Modified IHRA World Record by clocking a 6.035,” said team Crew Chief Sammy Ware. “This team wants to win races.”

Eddie Ware won the Torco Race Fuels CompetitionPlus Pro Modified title at the 2006 Amalie Oil North American Nationals in the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) eMax Drag Racing Series at New England Dragway located in Epping, New Hampshire, his first national event win.

The next event for the Disturbed Motorsports team will be the ACDelco NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida March 15-18 at Gainesville Raceway.

The Supercharged Pro Modified Chevrolet 1967 Camaro is powered by a 526-cubic inch Brad Anderson Hemi power plant and cylinder heads, a Kobelco K-11 Supercharger, and a Davenport fuel system, all united to a Lenco three-speed transmission with a Crower clutch.

Disturbed Motorsports, Disturbed MotorSports, receives associate sponsorship from Rupture Streetwear.
