Uh, wow..........

.02 under with a nickel in the bag at the starting line. There had to have been a northern Indiana bean field between Edmond and Big in the lights. Not a mistake you'll see out of Edmond very often, that's for sure...........

How about a simple 'Congratulations, Big'. Yeah, he's Garlits, but he's 79 years old; cut him some slack. He can't be expected to cut .006 lights like Richardson on a regular basis.

I bet that old man was thrilled to death, and I'm pleased for him.

He still broke out, but you can tell Edmond Richardson was off of it some...a 10.679 @ only 114. Usually going 10.60's are usually 120+ mph

Read Big's comments on Cplus. He thinks it would be a good idea to run the sportsman 4 wide since there are so many cars. What a clusterfart that would be. Talk about organized mayhem......although it would be fun to watch if I could see it on ESPN3:D

The OBVIOUS thing would be to run the Super category cars 4-wide, since it's all heads-up ( there's no handicap,) and there's so many of them!

It would reduce the time needed to run them, dramatically.

Other than the fact that they would no longer be able to "drive the stripe" (braking, on the big end) to keep from breaking out, I don't see a downside to this.

Stock and Super Stock would be a cluster-f***, with dial-ins running from the 15-second range to the 8's.... massteria...
