Anybody know what happened here? The update on NHRA.com doesn't say anything about the pass except that both drivers are listed with "no time". The recap says Bernstein has a DQ and Arend was given a 28.00 time. Whats the story?
Left Lane: Jeff Arend No Time, Now #10
Right Lane: Kenny Bernstein No Time, Now #9
Both Bernstein and Arend have the opportunity to make the Countdown for the Championship if they win and others perform poorly. Bernstein lost some cylinders at the end of the track, moved into the center line and took out two timing blocks. His time was disqualified. Because he knocked the blocks out before Arend reached the finish line, Arend's ET will not count either.
Jeremy,
I guess that T/F first round somehow missed getting posted initially. When the second round of Pro Stock came up with T/F still not posted I called Rick Green at the track and T/F was up soon after.
