BARKLAGE RACING WANTING TO BE BACK IN WINNING FORM FOR THE MISS TORCO SHOOTOUT – THROW DOWN IN T-TOWN
Zach Barklage Back in Local Pro Mod Compeition
TULSA, OK (September 7, 2007) – After a big weekend in Indianapolis for the NHRA US Nationals at O’Reilly Raceway Park, Barklage Racing is back to a local racing scene and hopes are high for Zach Barklage.
After having tremendous success in Super Chevy competition, and local shootout racing, the team is hoping to be back in the grove with this weekend during the Miss Torco Shootout, Throw Down in T-Town, presented by Babextreme at Tulsa Raceway Park . Despite not racing in abundance in Tulsa , the team has had some success there including Cody Barklage’s personal best ET of 6.02.
“We have had a good year on the track,” commented Zach Barklage. “We had a lot of success in Tulsa testing over the years, and we are excited to be in competition there. The event sounds like it will be a lot of fun, and we really hoping to step things up and go rounds.”
Going rounds will be the name of the game. With questionable weather being forecasted, the team knows they will need every round to be successful. With tough competition slated to be in attendance, the team will be working hard to stay on top of their program.
Barklage went on to comment, “We know there will be a lot of good cars there. We always go to a race with the same attitude, we are there to win, and go rounds. We just have to run the cleanest race program we can and hope we can do what it takes to bring home another Barklage win.”
The next stop for Barklage Racing is September 21 - 22, 2007 for the Street Machines Shootout at Ozark International Raceway in Rogersville , MO. Both Zach and Cody Barklage will be in attendance.
