The reality of the parts situation right now is they may be saving all the best parts for Steves car as it gets closer to the end. You can have all the Money in the world and it doesn't help if you haven't got enough absolutly near perfect parts for the last races. It's probably going to be 80 for a high and mid 50's for a low with Cloud Cover according to the Weather Channel - If you can't Rotate the Earth and and run with the Big Dogs you better stay on the Porch. It may take a whole lot of parts.

This looks like it could be the largest field of TF cars so far this year? Even without Billy Torrance. That's really good to see.

Glad to see the big field but Friday evening will be the only time available for the big numbers. A week ago the forecast high for Ennis was 75. Today, it's 90. That track is every bit of 140 degrees at 3pm and 90 degrees. The one time I went when it was ambient 102, nearly the entire Pro Stock field could have qualified for Top Fuel after the first round's track temp of 148. At least night qualifying doesn't start until 8, unlike 5:30 or so in the past.

Not surprised about Billy Torrence. And I'd rather see a no-show than watch him leave before the tree is activated or shut off at 330 feet or worse - show up, find out he's on the same side of the ladder and not even stage the car. Wouldn't be the first time that happened.
