If I remember correctly, the current administration gave these automakers tax credits to build these EV cars and trucks. There was no stipulation about selling them. Now that they're made and can't sell what's in stock, the prices are dropping and the need to build more doesn't make sense.

The consumer says what they want to purchase. EV's aren't them even with the govt. insentives. With that, the govt. will continue to change laws to force the issue. We see it here in California now.
