London, Ontario,July 3, 2007 Fresh off victory at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s IHRA Sooner Nationals, 3 time IHRA Funny Car Champion Rob Atchison and the Erickson Tie Downs and Tow Straps Monte Carlo return to their adopted home province of Alberta. “ I love racing in Western Canada and getting to meet their great fans,” states Rob Atchison. The Rocky Mountain Nationals have really been like a home race to us and this year with Edmonton’s own Shaun Madigin on the team it will be a home race for our team. We have made some very special friends here with the local racers and fans at the Rocky Mountain Nationals. We will have “back to back” home races this year with Grand Bend and the IHRA Mopar Canadian Nationals next on our schedule July 20-22.

Flyin’s Full and Self Service Wash facility at 17715-116 Avenue in Edmonton cleans Trucks, Trailers, Equipment, Buses and RV’s. “We have washed our rig with Ryan and staff since the very first Rocky Mountain Nationals and we recommend them to our fellow racers and fans,” stated Atchison
The Sooner Nationals victory was Rob’s 18th and moved him in to 3rd place in career IHRA Funny Car victories behind leader Mark Thomas (26) and Von Smith (19).
