It makes one wonder if Mac Tools and Snap-On are kicking there selves for taking there names off the side of a few race cars??? I mean it's retail and it's competition. Any press is good press. I feel that if NHRA had any extra brains!?!?!?! They would ask Matco to sponsor the US Nationals and other events. It looks like Matco is going to have "free reign" over the NHRA this year. I say good for them!!!!

Yeah after Don tried to kill the thread that Mike Green and crew where getting shifted to his son Tony's team a while ago!

My how things have changed!
So who knows I think Lee is a better choice but thats just my opinion.
I think Don owes it to Corey and Fram to get Beard since he took his guy.
Todd and Shuler are O.K. I guess but I would feel better with Beard.

If he did that wouldn't be so bad if that job was sound , nothing against the lucas team but they sure go through alot of crew chiefs , I mean wouldn't it be best for them to find a crew chief and keep him on long enough to maybe get a combination going that works instead of finding another one every other race . Even Austin Coil and John Force didn't go out and win straight away when they first joined forces .

Anyway thats not what we are talking about back on topic .

Seems like he went from two unsponsored funny car teams to one sponsored top fuel team........two years at that. Good business move if you ask me. Looks like a thinner top fuel field as well.
