Ashely Force Hoods Qualifiying Run?

This might sound like a dumb question, actually my wife noticed it when we were watching the ESPN2 show, just as Ashley was launching on her run a guy came running up to where all the photographers were shooting and he was waving a white towel. Anyone else see this or know what it was?

I saw the same thing and was wondering what that was all about, I know my wife said it was pretty dark and ask me why don't they have the lights on?
Maybe the guy even though he did not look he had JFR gear on was signaling where the wall was? It was kinda weird .

The guy appears to be signaling Hood for some reason. Weird indeed!
