Angelle's first pass pass in a TF car (4 Viewers)

I never tried, and I wasn't there yesterday to see the TF crash. But I definitely believe one should have some time in an alcohol car before Nitro.
Especially going from a 7 second door car to nitro I feel is too great of a change, wheel base and steering are worlds apart.

Years ago a friend of mine came to me at Phoenix drag strip and asked me, Larry what am I in for. He had been driving a alcohol dragster for a year or more. he was there to get his top fuel license. I said when you hit the loud pedal at 100 ft. you will say O-F%#@. but I said never touch the gas pedal backing up or you will be in trouble. He came back later and said it didn't take 100 FT.🤣, He has told me more than ounce since then, he never touches the pedal backing up. My friends name is Ron Capps 😌. and the rest is history.
Larry Sutton---🤠

What about going from PSM like Antron?
Nothing similar in those two vehicles.

I recall Kenny Bernstein saying that he experienced a lengthy learning curve when transitioning from FC to TF because of the difference in the way the two cars handle. Namely, the rear end wanting to come around on him. He was uncomfortable with it for months but obviously he found the handle and all's well that ends well.

I didn't figure Angelle would have a problem. Of course, 330 is where the real fun begins but I bet she'll be just fine.

i'll take drag racers for $500 alex.
what people will say when ant and angelle eventually race each other
what is a good matchup?

There's always an exception to the average.
And there's no steering wheel on a bike. This eliminating that natural reflex to saw the wheel.
I've had many friends with experience in alcohol going to nitro they all said they were amazed at the nitro car still pulling past the point of the alcohol cars.
Look at any inside camera on a short wheelbase car and watch the movement of the wheel, and then watch it on a TF car.
