jeggie might be on his game but will his car ?? sure hasnt looked good so far this weekend

Didn't look 'on his game' in Charlotte either...Qualified with a .65 yet picked up 0.03 IN ROUND ONE victory vs. Mike Edwards....

I'm gonna speculate here that the good ol' Yellow Car may have more in the 'tank' and is not showing their full hand in qualifying. Perhaps...it's a part of their "PLAN" to take out the point leaders????

Once again....SPECULATING.... But...seems like a good idea

I hope Allen wins today, he deserves it after the NHRA crapped on him at Charlotte.

Come on --NHRA did not crap on ANYBODY at Charlotte (and I think AJ would be the first to say so).

If they had assessed some draconian punishment (in addition to the one race suspension), I'd think differently.

I think Allen crapped on himself.

After yesterday's early exit in Dallas he's essentially out of the hunt. I realize hind sight is 20/20, but if a championship is really what you're working all year for, wouldn't you be able to lay off the sauce for a couple months? Allen's blog has consistently featured pictures of him at parties. It's obvious he likes to have a good time, but when you know you could be tested, why take the chance? It's a shame...they have the baddest hot rod in the class right now, but it's all for naught.

Guess I'll be rooting for the Summit cars now....Go Pontiac!!!
