Just in time for the holiday season, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce its gift to its wonderful fanbase.
It will also be the huge holiday gift that keeps on giving – right up to the first race on the 2011 ADRL Tour.
Starting on Monday, December 20, and continuing until the first race of the 2011 season, the ADRL will release a video each day, Monday through Friday, of one class from a race during the 2010 season on its website, ADRL.us :: American Drag Racing League. The videos will go in a chronological order, meaning all classes will be shown from the LenMar Motorsports World Finals V during the week of Dec. 20 through Dec. 24.
The following week, Dec. 27-31, the Georgia Drags will be featured and each event will be shown in succession. UTI Dragpalooza VI presented by Safety-Kleen, typically the first race of the ADRL season, will be shown later in the series as it was not completed this past season until a double-race weekend in Baytown in July.
Entitled “ADRL Clickstream Videos,” each day of the week will feature a different professional class from one of the ADRL’s memorable and record-breaking events.
Monday will be dedicated to Extreme Pro Stock, while Pro Extreme Motorcycle will take place on Tuesday and Extreme 10.5 will follow each Wednesday.
Every Thursday leading up to the 2011 ADRL season-opening race on March 25 will include the great action of Pro Nitrous, while Friday’s will be reserved for the quickest and fastest doorslammer class in all of drag racing, Pro Extreme.
“This is such a big and exciting project that we’ve introduced for all ADRL fans. We know they will come back each day to watch all the thrilling racing from each of the ADRL’s amazing classes,” ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said.
“This is a great way for our dedicated fans to relive the racing, the records and the thrilling competition that made the 2010 season so memorable. It will last right up to the first event of the 2011 season at Royal Purple Raceway on March 25.”
The videos will include the best runs from every round of eliminations from every class for each event, as well as behind the scenes features that include instant replays, interviews in the pits, winner’s circle reactions and all the fun-filled, can’t-miss action that has made the ADRL the top eighth-mile series in the world.
Also included in this exclusive series on ADRL.us is a highlight package of each class that will run during the final week of online broadcasts.
“For those fans who weren’t able to see the ADRL 2010 Tour shown on MAVTV, this is an excellent opportunity to catch all the exhilarating action on a daily basis,” Fortune said.
“Our television partners at Newave Video Productions did such a remarkable job capturing all the action and all the extra behind-the-scenes entertainment and put it together in a package that will surely please everyone.”
