Alky cars in the New England area

Anyone know of alcohol car (A/Fuel, TA/D and TA/FC) teams in the New England area?
Unfortunately ... what used to be a really long list of quality New England cars in Division 1 has shrunk dramatically.

In TA/D you have ...
  • John Finke (Upstate NY)
  • Tom Pickett (NH)
  • Dan Mercier (Quebec)
  • Art Gallant (Mass.)
  • Most of the rest are from NJ, Pennsylvania, and points south
In TA/FC its ...
  • Paul Gill (Mass.)
  • Micket Ferro (CT)
  • Eric Lourie (CT)
  • Fred Tigges (Mass.)
  • Dan Roman (CT)
  • Most of the rest are from NJ, Pennsylvania, and point south
I may have missed 1 or 2, but like I said he list has shrunk.

Jay Blake's "Follow A Dream" Alcohol Funny Car, driven by Todd Veney, is from Cape Cod and was testing at New England Dragway on Saturday.

No one in particular. I was just curious as to who is in the area. I know Bob Tasca is rooted in Rhode Island, but I don't know where his shop is at.

Don't worry, I was planning on any unwanted visits. :)

Tom,

Tasca's shop is down in Charlotte. Its not some worn out NASCAR shop, he actually built a state of the art place, with a blower and clutch dyno...its pretty darned cool!

Geeeesh! Since when did NY and Quebec become part of New England? LOL:)

There are a few cars that are simply parked also due to funding.

that should be: I was NOT planning on any unwanted visits.

Paul Gill and the Moduline modular cabinet team are good people. Very cool to hang out with.

I cannot tell if you are being sarcastic, but in case you are not, neither NJ or NY are part of New England. I think this is the basic rift between the Red Sox and the Yankees. ;)

Considering I'm in the Southwest about 2,500 Mi. away, my geography is not what it should be! I guess like most people we consider any state in the NE as part of New England!
