By chance caught a little of an adrl race on tv today. Didn't realize they had any coverage. Do they always run 1/8mile?

Yes PJ. I love the quarter mile, and I you know I hate 1000 ft fuel racing however let me say this: The ADRL is the best racing and most action packed event you will ever go to. You'd love it. You need to get to one. I promise you. I'll even make you a deal, if you go and dont like it I'll pay for your ticket!

actually I'm not a 1000' hater. I would strongly prefer 1/4 but I can live with 1000'. 1/8 mile though....i've seen it a few times and its like watching only a half court bball game or arena football. Its till the sport but I need more
Still its free and there is one close to my place, I may talk myself into going yet

Hey now, your onto my plan. Ha ha. Another reason the ADRL is great. Its free except for parking and what you eat.

PJ, you should go. 1/8th mile racing just takes getting used to it. I will say this, its easier to watch on a 1/8th mile track than a 1/4th mile track. But its still great racing.

Been to 1/8th mile. Norwalks Holloween meet was all 1/8 mile last year. Didn't like it as much, part of bracket racing is seeing someone get a huge lead and if the other car can run them down. Granted its the same % 1/4 to 1/8th but visually its more impressive and exciting.
Also saw nitro on 1/8 once. Its over before it begins.
