I noticed that-thought it's a great move just as I think it's a great move that the Army made Tony S. an honorary Staff Sargent.

Look, there are very few people in this world who shoot their mouths off about the government and its policies than me-hell I get paid to analyze and teach what it does in terms of macroeconomic policies. And I know that I wouldn't have the right to speak freely what I think if it weren't for the efforts of the men and women of the armed forces. Hell, if the Greatest Generation had not won WWII, I would have been a lampshade a long time ago. Me and Fascists just don't get along so well.

I think it's awesome, and a first that I can remember. My huband has served 9 years in the Army (he even re-enlisted on the starting line at LVMS a few years back)! I only wish we were down there this weekend to take advantage of it.

If only they are expected to fight for us, the country should be theirs and no one elses. The rest of us should meekly live off their goodwill because they are the ones who have loved our country the most and most deserving of her blessings.
